I'm insured with Hastings, who seem to think that a Vauxhall Zafira or a Citroen Picasso or anything like that is a van and requires van insurance. I wanted a C3 Picasso for a while but wouldn't have been able to insure it with them - ThreadSky

I had a bit-related issue with chassis number insurance.
“The underwriter’s not covering as it has 7-seats”
Eh? What? But it’s only allowed me in it to go for its pre-booked IVA and MOT!

My main concern is that I doubt they’ll understand it isn’t an LPG conversion, it’s a factory job with no petrol system whatsoever.

Fair enough, one of the delivery drivers for my favourite takeaway joint has a C-Max, but the other one has a Mazda 2 and they don't get flagged
