No complaints with that red card, Lewis-Skelly gets caught, brings Kudus down - he's through on goal otherwise. Another miserable day in a miserable season.

I dunno, when you see murder tackles like that one on Trossard go unpunished, then the first var overturn of a yellow in what feels like ever.... feels bad man. Never see it against City.
Frustrating season, yes. But miserable? There was a while decade I would have given for this season. We still need to appreciate what this club is doing despite not achieving our ultimate objectives yet.
I mean, fair enough guys. We're not winning the league, we're out of both domestic cups, we've got the most difficult side of the Champions League draw and no forwards. Not everything needs a positive spin.
Unfortunately Myles has always had that “playing with fire” style of play… it’s what makes him so good but we were bound to get burnt sooner or later with it. It’s all about how he rebounds after this now.
Some of these comments denying it was a red card make our entire fanbase look ridiculous. Some of our red cards have been dodgy, but when we get an obvious one - denying it/blaming PGMOl etc is a joke. It was a red and we only have ourselves to blame. Stop the conspiracy BS.
We 100% deserve this. The lads have been taking the piss all game long. Underestimating West Ham and taking liberties. Passing up the obvious pass (looking at you, Martin) for something tricksy. I don't think this defeat can be put down to fatigue.
Agree. But imagine where we are as a football club that being second in the league and into the knockout stages of the Champions League can happen during a "miserable season." Progress.
The fact we are second and have somewhat been in the title race this long is a testament to Arteta’s ability. Stay healthy and buy the right guys and we go again next season.
