I wish there kind of was a weekly recap of events or happenings in the Splatoon scene in a way that was bite-size/tiktok/yt shorts vibes.

IPL has the weekly ink which I think is awesome it just doesnt pop up in people’s feeds much. People watch it if they know about it but I dont even really remember how I found it lol

I know we have the weekly ink(ipl) which is great but I feel like I don’t see it around if I dont look for/intentionally watch it. Maybe orgs could do monthly highlights of their weeklies? They could cover the progression if the same teams. More importantly though they could show off cool plays

The ideas reliant on streaming (and commentating matches) for sure but it would be worth it I think. Possibly if there was a tab on sendou for just tourney highlights if orgs started doing that. The videos tab is great but just has every kind of splatoon videos, great for learning not as much hype

Like the things that get me to play comp are the friends I have and the joy of getting better at a good game. Honestly thats enough for me to play, but not for everyone and its helpful to have hype surrounding tourneys

Honestly I’m really having the MCC highlight videos in my head. They were a tad dry editing wise imo BUT they showed really cool plays and got you excited for those players. If we had something that didnt just talk/recap happenings but showed great plays I think it could generate a ton of hype
