I sure do love Monster Train 2, where they've tweaked the mechanics so that there are more viable strategies than just stacking attack damage as hard as possible

It's also nice how they rebalanced things so that one faction isn't the only truly OP faction anymore
(That one faction has the only spell for consistently removing sap/corruption that the end bosses stack you with)
