Last days Ukraine isn't especially deep striking within Russia but concentrate on taking out as much as possible ait defense systems. Could it mean Ukraine preparing for a more active air to ground defense?as they got last weeks more jets?

villages under heavy artillery attack. Everyone is expecting the worst to come. Nobody is sure Ukraine has the forces to hold it back. Some 60,000 Russians retook Kursk. Time is of the essence as Ukraine pulls itself together and another new front opens up that’s entirely their own fault.

The Belgorod distraction aside - which may be all that’s holding the Russians back until they’re ready to move on a wider front, Ukraine of course puts a brave face on it. But the price of Kursk was always going to be high and now it needs to be paid. It’s not going to be easygoing.

I well remember you saying that 9 .months ago, has Ukraine not bothered to build decent defence line on there side of the boarder?
I find that simply careless and obviously was relying on the wars end. Russia was always going to get around to it, there should be something there to at least slow them

Don’t entirely subscribe to this. Whilst I agree with you on 90%… the Russians had amassed almost the same numbers they have today there.

What I would say. Why hasn’t Ukraine fortified its border to the hilt?… their withdrawal would have been ok.
