Yes! Thank you! It must just be my old age. Broken tooth last year drama, broken tooth this year drama. I’m due a break next year hopefully. How are your lungs? Are you feeling better?
Honestly I’m not sure—when I went for follow-up last Friday they did a couple of X-rays & the doctor was like “oh yeah, things look better, still some infection but blah blah come back in 3 weeks for follow-up.” But looking at the actual report on my online chart: still have a partial collapse 1/2
2/2 (dunno how big, think not too bad) in right lung, & I’m still hacking up green shit (mostly when I get up, but certainly not exclusively) & so we’ll see in a couple weeks I guess. Stomach also still pretty gross, but was negative for all pathogens/c. diff (tho she didn’t tell me to fast, so 2/3
3/3 that test probably wasn’t actually done properly anyway. But I honestly don’t think I have it, symptoms are different & I think if I did things would be worse/grosser. So still taking probiotics & etc. Missed PT today bc too tired & stomach was fucked. So it goes…
Ah I’m sorry, sounds painful and debilitating. And ongoing antibiotics are no joke either. All good wishes from me for you to recover from it very soon.
Seriously, I was shocked at 2 hours of drilling and prodding. I thought it was never going to end. And once again, I was unlucky enough to have a ‘hot pulp’ so had anaesthesia injected directly into the nerve. The pain was momentary, but it was definitely pain. 😂
I have never liked going to the dentist so that would be my idea of pure Hell. I need to find a new practice down here. Needless to say, no NHS anywhere. Oddly...it isn't top of my 'to do' list 🤪
Never had to have one of those, and my legs have gone all wobbly just hearing you describe it. And you still manage to get some amazing art to illustrate the experience! Hope you're fully recovered soon.
Thank you. Though, the worst part, in fact, was the sheer length of time I had to spend in there with my gob open whilst gripping the chair. Two bloody hours. I was fine when I finally managed to escape their evil clutches.
