I hate this phrase, and at my most recent job before I retired, I'd hate hearing "I'm going to conference you in" thus making me be on the call with 3 or 4 people at one time.
It’s hard explaining to others that I am a certified introvert. I took the test! I wish I could show them my results but they still wouldn’t understand.
They don't even need me to clarify anything, they just dont want to have to type out their response. Use voice-to-text to email back and leave me alone!
Be honest: "I like a written record so you can't pretend you didn't know; or if you say: ' I didn't understand', we can all read the written record and decide if I was unclear, or if you just lack analytic and critical reading skills".
