3yo was sorting his stuffed animals by predator or prey and doing so with surprising accuracy, I have to admit. Then he got to the pastel rainbow unicorn. Without a moment's hesitation it went in the predator pile. I've learned something today. - ThreadSky

It's a pretty reasonable way of sorting, from an evolutionary standpoint. If unsure, assume predator. A good, cautious approach.

Reminds me — we went to the RenFaire in LA and we went to the Queen’s Joust or whatever it’s called and they did not joust. They just rode their horses toward a little ring and whoever got the ring on their lance won. Boooooooo. I want to see blood.
