Problem with having a stacked roster. The homegrowns are over, the transplants are stars, and most of the roster is full of people that we've wanted to be main eventers elsewhere, or were world champions. Cole needs momentum, to either cheer for or against, but he's on a plateau right now.

Every time he starts to do something, it fades away and nothing happens.

He beat Danny for the TNT title and had one match since, a title defense against Claudio. That didn't even lead to a real brush with the Deathriders.

Yeah they have a hard time maintaining his momentum. As a babyface, he's better on the hunt. As champ, he's better as a heel. However, without long-term storytelling, I hate to say it but he's average in either role. They keep him on the outside of the major stories, so it's hard to care.
