What about simply brushing your teeth and flossing, you guys? So many countries don't put fluoride in their drinking water, but they educate their population that they should not let their babies sit with sugary drinks in their baby bottle and curb sugar in kid's (and adults') food!

I have a mouthful of crowns. From a mouthful of fillings. Growing up, our water did not have fluoride. My daughter had zero cavities growing up, and had a tiny one as an adult. She grew up with fluoride in the water.

I am not aware of any significant benefit from fluoridated water, beyond that obtained by simply using fluoride toothpaste. Why risk the potential negative effects of consuming fluoride in drinking water?
