In anticipation of that when I saw the Platinum 3 volume collection in store, I grabbed it without a second thought (I know the 3 volume collection cuts out the documentaries and stuff, but at least it's *something*)

What sucks is I own whole DVD collections of Looney Tunes, but there was some kinda defect in process and they’ve degraded to the point of being unusable. Where the hell do I get that now? This was critical animation history! 😭

Public libraries is also vital in physical media preservation. I also have to say if The Day The World Blew Up does well, can we please get that James Gunn Wile E. Coyote flick out of the WB vault.

Also in terms of streaming, your public or college library may have three or four of the best streaming services on the planet. Hoopla, Kanopy, Criterion on Demand, and the public library itself.
