They released metal figures alongside these in 93/94. After Gorkamorka released, more metal grots were available up until the current plastics of today.
Before second edition, there was a handful of metal Gretchen too.

Yeah I have some old ones. I really loved fielding the second edition ones hehe. Having big mobs of them would tempt me to collect orks again.
