BART had barely restored service, after an hours-long meltdown on Friday, when the politics and damage control began.

BART has a history of unreliability and overpaid employees. Dirty cars and dirty stations. Outages are common. Embarrassing.

BART is historically reliable and rarely has outages, despite being underfunded. Read the article.

I did read the article. BART has a significant level of service disruptions on a regular basis. It doesn’t appear the employees are underfunded.

It’s significant to the loyal commuters who depend on BART daily. Regular outages and delays add up.

Ok. Regular delays and over funded employees. The fat days of pre-COVID are gone. BART received $2 billion during COVID when ridership was low. Where did that go? Would have been the perfect time to invest in the system.

There are not regular outages. Again, the last one was in 2019.
