LOL true story, I had a friend who owned property that was on the backside of Donner Lake in Truckee. About 5 miles away from the Chevron. Since it was rustic, it didn't have power nor plowed roads in winter. One New Years we camped on the property, but ran out of beer around 9pm. Someone made
a beer run on a snowmobile to the Chevron and saved the day. We were supposed to be roughing it. So yes there is a 7 Eleven near by. Actually, I remember there's one in Truckee meadows hahaha.
