My fiance loves playing magic. They got me into the hobby. But they struggle at making cool decks they want to play cause it feels overwhelming.
I LOVE deck tinkering. Especially concepts and themes.
They asked for a spell Slinger deck with a lot of interaction and I think I built them that.

I built it to be fun, interactive, able to compete at mid level to strong tables but not to an overpowering degree. Plus there's, I think, lots of room for upgrades.
A great starting point!
But more for me; this actually is really helping me get better at magic.
It's just my vibe.
Wouldn't have ever touched spellslinging, storm, or burn as an archetype but by building this out it lets me understand it a little more. Appreciate that there's more to magic than "dump library into yard, then yard into play"
It continues to be my vibe.
But I can appreciate their style and other deck archetypes a lot more.
It did take me 6 hours to build though. Lol.
