A long way for the travelling support to go to watch the lads getting over their hangovers. Maybe I’m just a grumpy old man but I don’t understand this mentality. Celebrate for sure but I don’t understand letting standards slip seemingly intentionally.

I get the fans point but I think it's different when they've been on holiday. Had they been in the AXA all week then it risks becoming a bad habit

But his main lads have ran themselves into the ground and they deserve the enjoyment and a bit of a drop off in intensity.

I guess that’s the key. For me, mentality is everything - I can’t imagine doing the same thing, complacency so easily takes hold.

Of course I type this while literally sitting in my arm chair having never done anything close to what they’ve done this year.

Haha. Complacency and a drop off is certain after winning a league so perhaps making sure that complacency isn't enjoyed during the typical day job is the right thing.
