Governor Abbott and Texas lawmakers flaunt audacity, mandating the Ten Commandments in classrooms, trampling on sacred separation of church and state. Their zealous overreach mocks diversity and religious freedom with a dogmatic decree. #Texas

I guess I will be getting in trouble in August because I am adamantly against them putting this up in my middle school classroom. This is blatant disregard of the separation of church and state, & it does not represent all of my students. Maybe I’ll tape a “Diversity is our strength” poster over it.
I’ve long believed that religion is for the weak willed, those who need to be told what to believe in. Those who run the religions want power and wealth and what better than lots of weak willed people to give it to them. The world would be better off without religion.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party - it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.
