nope: I briefly worked for Jewel as a barista during the pandemic, they are owned by Albertsons. They own the Osco brand too but it's paired with different names in the region. for me in New England, it's Shaw's or Star Market that's the equivalent...but it still feels like Jewel (just w/ more fish)
