Confirming the initial report out of Portugal: Boston Legacy FC is set to hire Benfica coach Filipa Patão as the 2026 #NWSL expansion side's first head coach. Patão led Benfica to the #UWCL quarterfinals last year and was a finalist for the first Ballon d'Or women's coach award.
