A 9-8 or even 8-9 division winner should never ever get a home game vs a team who went 13-4 and came in 2nd in their division to the 14-3 division champ. Period, end of story.

Patriots won six Super Bowls because they beat up the AFC East like a pinata. I guarantee you if the NFL had a NBA type schedule and playoff format Belichick/Brady would have won at least one less ring. And give me a game vs the Steelers every year rather than home and home versus the Jets. Dreck.
