”The key transformation was when Donald Trump got elected. The vast majority of Australians looked at Trump aghast. Day after day after day, we have seen chaos on roller-skates. And most said: look, we may not know what we’re doing, but we’re not doing THAT.” @peterfitz1.bsky.social

But I was a little taken aback by your seeming to accept the Labour line it's doing a good job but communicating it badly.
For sure, I can think of no better person to handle...
But domestically, all I'm seeing is the party paying homage to the economic illogic of rearranging the crumbs that fall from an overladen table in order to say they're doing...
Under different leadership, the PLP has the potential to reinstate social democracy and the majority it needs to do so. Our best hope, to my mind, is that the party wakes up to that fact. Starmer took the leadership dishonestly anyway; there need be no qualms about taking it off him.
Because the Murdoch stuff is all pay walled, it is fairly easy to avoid most of it without actively trying.
Also, ignore Sky News over here - it it's fully Murdoch owned and basically Fox News lite and in no way resembles the British channel with the same name.
