They're such lovely shrubs that I looked them up a while back. It fascinated me that they have an expected lifespan, too.

Great shots of two polypores! I believe, maybe, the shot on the right is Lenzites betulinus, a different genus & species than the turkey tail on the left, Trimetes versicolor. If you look at the undersides, you may see they are different. I can't say for sure, though.
