As a DM my greatest joy is when the players enjoy something I've made, when they take it and play with it explore and extend its boundaries. I find that immensely satisfying.

When my players does something brilliant that I never would have thought of myself. When I see them engage with the story and add their own mark on it. When they break out in spontaneous laughter. There are so many things that make me happy, that’s why I play ttrpg.

Generally the interactions and the journey.. but dice company wise asking a player to ‘tell me the story’ on their first attack against the big evil baddy - I nearly folded up in two laughing at that… whilst running - it nearly killed me
