a friend of mine just got "doored" on greenwich ave in NYC.

the only way you can get doored on a bike in a big city is by riding in the door zone. and yes, that is what you are expected to do. reject this. don't do it. EVER. take the lane. make the cars wait/honk/whatever. it's your right.
