To make matters worse, a big portion of apple variety pedigrees are very wrong

Add to the frustration that apples (and grapes for that matter) like to spontaneously mutate and then those variations sometimes do or dont get new distinct names depending on how people are feeling about it

Ok, so that's doable but the number overwhelmed me. So I think, alright, let's do a page of berries. Technically there's over 400, but i think I can focus on the main ones. Surely they're all aesthetically similar enough.

That's not the mosr egregious part either. Apparently the term "berry" has different (yet mostly similar) requirements between "botanical" and "culinary" definitions/uses!!!

Anyway what i'm saying is: biology is complicated. There are no set boxes and orders that living things must align themselves to. Biology, though a science, os whimsical and magical and unpredictable as art.
