I remember hearing Tapestry for the first time. Every song was wonderful. It quickly became my number one and remains there today. Thank you Carole for the magic.
Every time I read your name, all those wonderful songs play in my head, and very pleasant moments from my life come to mind. Thank you for your fantastic music. love you.
Glad to see that you are a cat lover. I am fan of a lot of your songs especially those you wrote with the late Jerry Goffin.
I recall y reading years ago the Eva Boyd was your babysitter. Is that correct?
How odd is it that when I saw the photo in the background, I had a microscopic moment of thinking it was a family photo from my childhood. 🤔 well, actually not so odd when I think about it. Sometimes, I made my own family for support through those years.
I have purchased so many copies of this historical recording. Albums/ CDs to give away as gifts. I always appreciate the smiles and thank you from the recipients a couple days after they have experienced this great art.
iconic
I so desperately wanted to be Carole King
when I was a kid -
with my straight hair
and zero piano skills....
I have a cat now, tho'
so I'm taking that as a win!
I was in the garden with my daughter and my neighbour was playing this in her kitchen. I told her I was about 10 when it came out & how iconic this album is. It spent decades in the Top 100. Carole King & Carly Simon were my Taylor Swift.
I saw a video that sent me on a deep dive featuring your artistry. Thank you for your contribution to the arts. Oh and full circle on an outro of The Handmaid’s Tale this gem: (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman by Carole King WOW https://www.shazam.com/track/10552595?referrer=share

Sometimes I feel like the guy who sat down on a river rock.
Love each one.
(Because Tapestry was very formal we called her Woobie, or The Woob.)

Obviously! It was the law in the 70s to own a copy and to know every track frontwards and backwards.
Good job it was / is such a brilliant album, one of my big influences. A thousand thanks 🙏
