One of the nice things about being on the left is that most of the shit you believe, reducing poverty, climate change, not randomly bombing places, also allows “humanity to persist on this Earth” in ways not involving asking women if they’re ovulating

No, sorry, not becoming a birthrates weirdo doesn't "yield to the far right the notion that humanity ought to persist on this earth." We can just be the party that says you can have whatever number of kids you want, you fucking dumbass

Those other people are the fucking weirdos.
It’s gotta be “white” people who need to reproduce more.
There is no population crisis. Technology has addressed expanding population with better food production, we can adjust to diminished labor with technology as the need arises. Workers are more productive every year.
Who are they, and who are we?

If you don’t want children, you probably won’t be a great parent (don’t ask how I know)
It’s perfectly fine to not want kids.

Conservatives want to make (white) women give birth, then they are on their own.
"hey these right wingers wanna make you have kids but won't give you a half day off for the birth- that's really fucked up, we promise 6/9 months of PTO for new parents"
And yet for some reason they never say this
But I don't think that conservative voters are deceived. Liberals just assume the average GOP voter is not an asshole. I don't see any evidence to support that view.
Middling geographers have known for 50 years that we would hit a wall about now.

however, it sure follows a pattern.
I'm definitely no saint. But I would expect someone that writes articles regularly to simplify for emphasis and clarity.
