Two candidates were fronted by the campaign. One was Glenn Diesen, professor at a Norwegian university and frequent contributor to Russia Today. He has his very own Vatnik Soup entry: https://vatniksoup.com/en/soups/138/ 3/8
The other was party chair Marielle Leraand, formerly of the parties Rødt (means "Red", leans communist) and SV (Socialist Left, pretty much what it says on the tin). She left Rødt after they supported sending arms to Ukraine in the spring of 2023. https://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marielle_Leraand 4/8
FOR agreed to appear on a debate programme on the state broadcaster NRK and reveal the source of their financing, provided they were allowed to speak for a while about their Ukraine politics. NRK agreed, and in the programme they revealed the billionaire (in NOK) Atle Berge to be the source. 6/8
