sorry to sound elderly but why does my phone set the alarm sound at 14% and then go oh you missed an alarm it was prob cus the volume was low and how do I stop it doing this obviously stupid thing? it's a Pixel 6

I’m convinced AI has already taken over and is in every device, it just lacks ambition. Instead of wanting to be Skynet and wipe us out, it just wants to be a bit annoying.
As a fellow Pixel 6 owner I find it funny when it says this, especially right after Ive started charging the phone and it says alarms that werent played because the battery was dead maybe were ignored because of low volume
Anyway, Ive found my apparently low volume loud enough for when Im sleeping
Press the volume button. There are 3 dots at the bottom of the slider which appears. Press that and you can see separate volumes for different functions (phone, media, alarms etc). I found this out the hard way too
Another reply to you has a link to a reddit thread on a bug with Google Pixels and alarm sound levels. That could also be an issue. Worth glancing at that, contains useful information.
