But if someone was to buy you one for a birthday would you object? These were all gifts and I'm no fan of single use plastic or waste on beaches either but i'm very glad I have generous friends & family who know what I like - they know I keep them when the pens stop writing too - ThreadSky

No I wouldn’t object if it was a gift, I just try to reduce the plastic that is not necessary for me in everyday life. Tbh I don’t tend to buy pens very often & it was easy to switch to these rather than buy a bag of cheap plastic ones like I would have bought previously.

This my small collection, but I never used them 🙈 I have the feeling I get arrested when I turn up with the unicorn pen at work. 😂😂😂
Plastic waste is biggest problem as you cannot refill most of those pens.
