The best Star Wars thing was a prequel to a prequel. Final arc was surprisingly weak compared to the rest of the show, but Andor is a remarkable accomplishment, especially in the context of... everything.

I wasn’t big on Rogue One myself. So obviously the idea that they were making a TV series prequel to it following a secondary character? No way that could work. Shows what I know.
Really enjoyed the intense, slow burn. So much different, and better, btw, than the movies; which as a whole are too direct, simplistic and generally lack suspense. The SW family of series has some really good stuff. The final 4 episodes of Clone Wars would be the best movie in the series.
Disagree, having the last 3 episodes condense to focus on 1 linear arc was the way to do it. It makes the perfect transition from Andor directly into Rouge One.
Felt like they used up all their ideas on Ghorman and just had to stretch and vamp to the finish? Weird number of basic logic questions I never had in the show before.
I was surprised that episode 9 wasn’t the end of the season, honestly. They could have ended it there then spent a third season with Cas and K running down intel up to the opening scene of Rogue 1.
Deciding to spend the final 3 episodes of the series on a character that is not in Rogue one and was not a lead of this series until now was definitely a choice
Yup; tremendous 2nd season, but those last 3--especially that finale--just felt pale. Asked many questions I didn't need an answer to, then never answered them anyway. Just some strange choices and an underwhelming aftertaste.

If one thinks of Rogue One as the final episode I think it works, but I also understand folks wanting to take Andor on its own.
