You’re terrible at being a pedant.

Corruption requires explict quid pro quo. It is not corrupt to take an action that aligns with the interest of a person who gives you a gift, unless the official action was in direct response to that gift--a bribe. Terms matter. Accuracy and fairness matters. Regardless of what social media wants.

If—as Lipton has said and reported—they’re attempting to change US policy by putting money in Trump’s pocket, that is corrupt!
Attempted bribery is corrupt. Full stop.
If I drop a wad of cash off at my Senator’s office and he notifies the FBI, I’m corrupt but he’s not. If instead he deposits the cash in his bank account, he’s corrupt too, whether or not he takes any action on my behalf.
It's all just so complex and esoteric for them to make happen.
But FFS, you gotta make a guess to get by in the world, that’s the whole game.
Lipton: “Not a threat at all, not trying to gain a bribe. Just making conversation.”
Constitution has to say about this.
"It's very dangerous that nobody trusts the mainstream media anymore, people should stand up and defend legacy high quality news sources.
Anyway, here's why handing the President comical bags of gold bars isn't corruption unless he hands you a note saying 'IOU: One Crime'."
It's not quite an admission, but it's not far off.
That doesn't mean you cannot call it corruption.
I’ll bet ole’ donnie is one of those twits that thinks if a man buys a steak dinner on a first date, then he’s expecting sex later.
