Yesterday, I spent three hours eradicating invasive honeysuckle at Bernheim Forest with other volunteers. As I looked up, I could see the difference we’d made. Across the field, however, the honeysuckle was profuse. I momentarily paused and said — WTF? Why bother? And then I got back to work.
