despite owning a PS5 I've yet to take it out the box so I'm very pleased this is coming to PS4 too. If the PS5 ver is way better I'll just upgrade & if it's much the same I'll wait & see what other games are coming to ACA2 / PS5 only

I hear ya; whilst I'm relatively confident I'll wind up with a Switch 2 at some point, it likely won't be for a couple of years when its significantly dropped in price. So having the option to get a """downgraded""" (for lack of better wording) version for the Switch 1 is great news.

Same, to be honest; they'd be neat-ish features to muck about with in other games but neither are crucial. And in RR's case if I really want a time attack mode that badly, it's got the Time Trial map anyway which is good enough lmao

I mean I'd have been quite happy continuing to make use of my copy of the PS1 port, because it is both an excellent port and the only PS1 game anyone will ever need, but y'know; having the arcade version be widely available for as many people as possible is excellent.

ACA2 releases will have an additional Time Attack mode as standard for all of their releases & online modes for games that originally featured multiplayer (so not Ridge Racer). Seemingly they have increased performance above the OG ACA versions too but I've no idea on any specifics
