I’m all for the Democrats embracing populism and ditching neoliberalism. I just want someone to explain how that works in a post-Citizens United environment. Dem populist hero Sherrod Brown was beaten by a Mercedes dealer in Ohio because he was swamped by crypto super pac cash.

Populism is not enough.
We must embrace a politics of freedom for people.
MSM's post mortem and their failure to point that "little" factoid out. Those super pacs can be funded from anywhere... I'm still w HRC... all roads lead to moscow.
most people. We need to pivot and flood TikTok, gambling, YouTube etc screens with short, fun, high end, clever work that tells the truth. Trump lost 2 million jobs, Biden created 13 million and brought manufacturing back, boom, done.
The misinformation monster that Citizens United has unleashed requires us to fight fire with fire or burn.
We all remember the first four years of Trump and the constant corruption.
We need outlets like the Intercept and ProPublica to report it and our own mouthpieces to just hammer it home.
Corporate media is uniquely awful at investigative journalism (intentionally) - we need outlets that will find the rot and other outlets that will keep hammering home how pervasive it is.
As long as you go after both parties and you have evidence, people may balk on the right but the courts will not.
That's my Ted talk 😁 - now to figure out how to do it.

Changing to the popular vote would be easier, and we’d get more done. Certainly would have changed the 2016 outcome.

Trump got the little man working vote by lying to them. Bernie got it by telling the truth. And y'all still scratching yo heads going, Golly how do we win?
Clearly living in an olive which makes me pessimistic that we can fix our broken system.
A serious loss for the country.
But here we are.
The crowd within crypto is very diverse. But you will always see bots and scams around it because there are vast opportunities for scammers.
The tech is sound.
"Rent is too high".
"Okay, let's regulate the market."
"You're a socialist."
It happens to me weekly.
Going to sleep and waking up to this shit again is already old. I know we’ll survive this mess, but it’s going to be hell.
Be well. Thank you for all you do.
