i like stories that are kinda flawed and maybe even a little shaky at times, to me its a matter of being able to see the true vision of the author, mistakes and all, rather than getting material that is so polished and perfect that it feels clinical. i love weird and flawed shit is what im saying

w perfect media there is nothing to latch onto, no space for the viewer or reader to stick their fingers in and wiggle around in the guts. you need a gap :) you need the imperfections :) perfection offers no room for interpretation.

genuinely believe that trigun being kind of shitty is why it is so compelling: there is so much space for play, so much to "fix," so many angles to entertain. each version sucks in a different way that speaks to different people.

u r so right!!! no it is not the perfect manga, but damn if NT didnt give it his all for His Vision. in the end it produced this very unique and strange world + story that leaves a lot of questions and gaps to be filled, and honestly thats what makes it so interesting 2 me
