What really got me on top of the usual Vanillaware quality and aesthetic was how refreshing it was as a different style SRPG. I know it follows in the wake of Tactics Ogre, but itβs not exactly like weβve gotten many of those over the years π
I'll probably disappoint you, but I'm a very "easy" difficulty kind of guy when it comes to these titles haha. Definitely going to experiement a bunch with combinations and stuff, though.
Only reason I saw play at the hardest because the game is very easy on normal and requires 0 experimentation. You can blast through the game. The hardest difficulty felt more like "normal" to me. The folks who I played this along side all did the same thing as well, but test out the lvls and see!
Gotcha. Might check that out, then. I generally stick to easy or normal for these, since they're often hard even on normal, but if this is generally easy, I'll definitely at the very least check it out.
the way this game works, the units have synergy with their class, attacks, passives, etc. And some of the most fun of this game is finding really cool combinations of those. On normal you can just play with everything how it is in game and steamroll it IMO, but dont feel bad if you play on norm
I see, I think I've heard this in a video about a game. I generally stick to easy or normal because it's all about the story and characters for me with similar titles, but this does sound fun, so I'd at least want to check it out.
I'm glad to see more people enjoying or playing that one! Absolutely loved that game, I think it was one of the most criminally overlooked last year, hope you have a great time with it.

I can only imagine how much better it'd be portable!
