By the earliest time they could possibly be in government, we will be so advanced in renewable that Nuclear will be even more ridiculous than it is now. Does anyone in LNP have a functioning brain cell
As long as they keep the policy you don’t have to put much effort into keeping them in opposition. I’m pretty sure it is a policy the people of Australia don’t like.
That ‘better, cleaner, cheaper energy’ Chris, is that before or after your govt approves a 50-year extension to extract fossil gas in the NW shelf? You know, the extension that undoes every carbon-reduction to date and well into the future.
I can’t think of any other statement but GO F#CK YOURSELF 😡 You have just DESTROYED OUR FUTURE 🌎 Woodside's North West Shelf, Australia's largest gas project, approved for life extension to 2070
Stop approving gas . No Fracking. And force mining to remediate sites to original native state... forever. Revegetate and restock. Acknowledge climate change horror. We're living it. Make coal clean up and repair the Hunter Mine sites.
Hey Chris why is there a gas drilling ship around the 12 Apostles ? Are we that stupid? We DO NOT have a gas shortage. Even bloody dumb Dutton admitted that. So what are we going to do about it???
Since they were never going to do it anyway, it makes no difference. The few non-deluded members of the Coalition know perfectly well that by the time they get back into power they won't be able to put the renewable horse back in the stable.
Have Labor pollies self interest really overcome the need to protect people and the environment we all live in? Now regretting even giving you lot preferences. #NoToWoodside
Hi Chris,
If you must approve the north-west shelf, at least put conditions on it.
40% reserved for Australia at zero cost would be a good start. Pretty much every voter in Australia will back you on that. 25% tax on the deemed value of extracted gas by volume would be a great step too.
Providing another 50 years of gas production and expanding coal mines is quite a mindbender then, isn't it? What are the hidden costs to the environment by 2075 I wonder. We've already seen mass extinctions from the past 50 years of fossil fuel use.

Yeah, called out by your own "environment" minister once again.
Shame on you all. #auspol
The Liberals are focused on getting a political deal with the nationals.
Even if that means resurrecting their expensive nuclear scheme and the cuts that we’ll need to pay for it.
Now tell us what happened in Perth?

great point !!!
why don’t you @australianlabor.bsky.social concentrate on your own #Shite rather than digging dirt and smear tactics ..
this goes for all campaign managers and politicians who gleefully sprook others faults rather than look inwards ..

No money in anything else.
Figure out the money.
before cutting loose on others …
if there is one take away from this #Election25 it’s the lack of accountability and truthfulness in policy and actions.

Also destroying all ALP credibility with First Nations people
with the destruction of a 50,000 year old history of humanity, oh and there's those pesky emissions as well.

The North West Shelf Extension will be an unmitigated catastrophe.
You're STILL putting multinational corporate profits before human survival.
CUT THE CRAP.
