E6 tags is just what the users decide to tag it as, it is no authority on anything.

Often smaller adult characters will be wrongfully tagged as young.

Supposedly e6 tags is about looks, some people might be uncomfy with characters that LOOK young, hence the tag. The tag adult_(lore) is more accurate since it can't be used if the pictures contains actually young characters, or so I read there.

Tag fights on e6 are common and usually result in bans and certain tags being locked so they can't be removed from a post. The TWYS system is very flawed.

please dont judge artists by their e6 tags, people are allowed to label someones art with incorrect tags on that site. It’s Zackary’s decision to draw young or not. I dont think they intended these characters to be tho. that being said, they already draw feral so idk why you don’t think thats weird🤷‍♀️
