What a difference a year makes (mini bottle on left bought from M&S last March, bottle on right bought last week). Did they think we wouldn't notice? What a con!! Shame on you M&S π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬

Full body taste, deep red under cork & everthing you expect from a quality wine of only 12.5%. Lovely sipping wine.
Last case, later vintage is 14%, same price & tastes but too much alcohol to sip.
Wendy & I find it too easy to sit out at night, (not between Oct to May), and chat all night drinking wine.
A lower alcohol content but with an excellent body & taste means we don't end up drunk !π·π©π΅βπ«
I wanted to ask, what are your memories of how much you liked the original wine and then did you notice a difference in the taste enjoyment of the 2024 bottle?
We buy wines from same chΓ’teaux year on year but difference in taste/quality can be so different.
