One infuriating social media dynamic atm is high engagement bluesky left/liberal ire at dem elites like Newsom and Cuomo and then seeing facebook normies call critics of Newsom or cuomo "left MAGA" and "letting the perfect be the enemy of the good for "ideological purity"

This is something I'm very much not looking forward to either. There has been a significant effort on behalf of local Dems here--both elected and voters--to block Cuomo. If that effort fails, all of us will get erased via blanket "The Democratic Party chose Cuomo" posts from these ppl.
