Top ten album for me. I do wonder if Mike Smooth did all the scratches & chorus phrase choices 🤔. They really sound like DJ Premier from that era to me & as he was involved in production as well.

Definitely. It’s an album that always has me coming back to it. So many gems on here and Finesse is the punchline king. Easy to see who Big L was influenced by. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Preemo. Definitely got that cadence on the cuts.
