The bad faith reporting during and since the pandemic is very much an attack on the public. It's like everyone forgot "best efforts" protocol is both automatic and standard in healthcare to make interim guidelines. "No science" is wrong, distancing to reduce respiratory outbreaks is known to work.

This feels like an absurdly bad-faith attack to me. It's true that there were no studies on *6 feet specifically*, but there is a mountain of evidence showing that social distance reduces COVID transmission.

Most govt buildings, and private buildings were upgraded—workplace safety forced it.
Only schools were left behind
Loads of schools were rebuilt, upgraded, made much safer over the past 25 years—and it was assumed that air quality was perfect in new schools…but more like hit or miss
And lots were not rebuilt
Kids pass on diseases all the time asymptomatically to adults who get deathly ill. And vice versa.
