I hope this ends peacefully. People have the right to peaceful protest and no one should get hurt if everyone keeps it that way. I hope no injuries will occur among police and protesters. It's right for people to protest against genocide and possible misuse of ant-terror laws.

I just walked past there and police were frisking a few people just outside Trafalgar square (no arrests), so maybe possession of something is also cause for arrests?
