I asked my two leftie kids. The nurse said she puts in IVs right handed (she used to spin in ice skating left handed).

My son said, he has just adapted and is more skilled using his right hand than right-handed people are using their left, because he grew up having to use right-handed tools.

Never used left handed scissors but a left handed can opener made a big difference when I was growing up! (I've adapted since but using a left handed one finally made the needed motions make sense)

Left-handed baseball glove (for the right hand) is all I can think of. I golf and bat right handed. By the time I tried left-handed scissors I was so used to right-handed that it just felt weird. Sometimes in school I would flip a spiral notebook over and write in it from the back.

I do. For one or two small items it doesn’t matter, for bulk work they help a lot because the handle doesn’t dig in badly like a right hand pair. Re: other tools, I avoid gel and rollerball pens because of smearing. Uni Jetstream pens dry really quick and are just as smooth.

Not really, I learned to use right-handed scissors cus that's all the offered at elementary school. Once I got left-handed ones, it felt weird to use.

That is pretty much the only thing I ever had made specifically for us. I had some pens and pencils that were designed for LH, too. But everything else I just learned to adapt. If you want to go crazy, they have everything from notebooks to coffee mugs.
