This is what I have in my US 4000. The prev owner had it made at an exhaust shop but I think the multi piece setup like you linked would be easier to work with. I have not ordered exhaust but have had good experiences with other repro parts for the car coming from Poland & Eastern European suppliers

I’d have a word with your local Powerflow exhaust place.

I’ve had two systems made. 240 & 940 and both were custom made for my cars for reasonable prices and higher quality than off the shelf systems. Guaranteed for life too.

Worth looking into. Doesn’t have to be rowdy, just made to fit.

I'll second all that. I had one done by Tony Banks in Leeds for a MK2 GS and it was perfect. Not cheap but it'll probably outlive the car.

I’ve had two custom stainless systems made up. One was meant to be a bit loud & sporty, the other was meant to be quiet. Apparently they can’t make ‘quiet’ stainless exhausts though, and it completely ruined the car unfortunately. Totally put off them since.

I specifically requested subtle and everyday use on the one on my 940.

The technicians at the place that made it said they can make it sound however I wanted it.

Depends on the amount of baffles. Not sure how they wouldn’t be able to make a quiet system. They are the ones making it.

Similar for me with Tony Banks. I probably wasn't clear and I think they assumed I wanted loud. After all, I do come across as a JDM racing god as we all know.
Anyway, quick trip down the road and I said it wasn't right. I wanted Lexus smooth and quiet so that's what they did.

I was absolutely devastated by ours, took it back and was told that’s how they are. It was bloody dreadful. We sold the car in the end. I’ve needed exhausts since then and ended up with inferior items as I daren’t risk the expense of a stainless that bad again.

Tbh I was going to say have a word with bells in Swindon. They made one for my mates S13 200SX about 20 years ago.

A quick google said they’re either current or previously Powerflow
