People would still vote for it because of politicians failure to be truthful about the damage it caused and will continue to until the worst is mitigated which Starmer’s reset will not do.
And how will you pay for all that when we're 'Spaffing' away £40 Billion each Year on lost Tax Revenues and Growth, - entirely because of this Brexit that a majority don't now want, and are certainly not gaining any benefit from..
The question will have to be faced at some point though because geography doesn’t care about ideology. I’m not a Rejoiner btw per se as I think the UK has to make serious changes before it could be considered a serious partner.
Lolz I don’t think the UK is worse than any other European country but yes politicians need to be more responsible in their language. I was thinking more about a written constitution in law, consequences for politicians & journalists who lie to voters
Agreed but my concern is that until they dramatically improve trading there will continue to be a £40bn permanent black hole that you need to pay for all the broken services you quite rightly cite.

Closer ties with the EU is more easily achieved if you do not insist on Brexiteers admitting they were wrong.
A large proprtion of Brexit Voters don't usually vote unless you invent an existential reason for them to do so.
Why pick a battlefield where we have already lost once?
Polarising voters does not work out well for progressive parties.
