My assumption: regular season load management has meant that lower seeds are better than they have been historically.

It’s the threes, i think the main part of hcourt is foul calls on drives and close
calls near rim. We have less of that lately cause people want to shoot their way back if they’re down at home and thus lose that advantage of foul calls.

My guess would be superstar load management has artificially lowered the seeding of great teams, so the “better” team is on the road for Game 7, just because they were fine with more regular season losses in exchange for healthy and rested guys in the playoffs
