First, the results! These are the top five rankings for normal and fighting games. The Ooze and Sonic the Fighters handily took the top spot in their categories.

While I can't guarantee they'll all show up, this has given me an idea of what people want to see and what to focus on, so thanks!

It might seem a little silly for a site like mine to have a survey like this, but as I'm sure you can appreciate, there's too many games out there! I kinda wanna cover all the ones that interest me! But where do you start? This sort of thing helps me narrow it down a bit.

Part of why I wanted to do this survey because I've been in a huge writing rut lately. Writer's block, as well as just not being able to pick what to write about, has lead me into that space where it's like, ah, this website ain't no good!

So, while I can't promise we'll be back to regular monthly updates, Gaming Hell will continue the battle.

This means I'll have to wade neck-deep in THE OOZE for now, but I'm already finding some neat stuff about it. Please look forward to it, I'll do my best!!

gaming hell's one of the oldest retrogaming sites I know and I'm glad you're still at it, tepid. your writing's v. charming, and your love for all goofy videogame-related things really comes across in your articles.
