I agree with most of this but I also think that when I've been impacted by seeing what others doing it's often worked out, but I soon forget about it. But when it doesn't work out, the pain is much greater.

It often does help, but not so much on the day. I find that, like today, when people have too much time to think these convergences form, and it's hard not to be swept up in them, especially when it's so many voices you respect. Think I'd be better off imposing my own deadlines rather than waiting.

Ended up there too......... also disappointed I caved too. Twice I have gone against my gut instinct this season and twice I've felt let down (by myself). Must stay stronger. Would say I hope Mo blanks, but as a Pool fan I still want him to do the business....... silver lining I suppose....... 😫

This isn't to criticise anybody else. On a different day, Palmer (c) gets 40 points. I'm criticising myself.

The higher up the ranks I get, the more I'm second-guessing everything I do. I've a top 10k finish, but I'm inexperienced being this high this early.

This happened to me a few seasons ago. Hit somewhere near 3k and then started making poor judgements, partly as I was reading too much content. Managed to avoid the same mistakes last season when I found myself in a similar position again.

It's specifically on the day of deadlines that it's affecting me. It's like all I can think about is FPL and why all my choices will go wrong. Obviously worse on these late deadlines. I love Saturday mornings when I can make my move before going to bed and wake up after the deadline.

It was a good decision in that I'm not spending tomorrow night hoping Salah racks up the points against Newcastle. I didn't think it was a great decision when I made it, for various reasons, but figured I'd take the chance anyway. It just doesn't feel like a decision I came to through logic.

Yeah fair enough I see what you're saying. Always good to have your own decision framework so you don't regret it as much when it goes wrong, ie. best goalscorer odds, highest on a model, highest EO etc.

See how Salah gets on first, not impossible he gets 2 points - anything could happen.
